Rio Clarillo National Reserve

I don't know much about the green spaces in Santiago or places to go. But when I was in the last year of school, we visited "The Clarillo River National Reserve", it is a natural environment and a refuge for wildlife.
This is in Pirque, you can arrive by car, on your bus and if you are more extreme in rural micro (so we were). You have to take the bus at the Lo Ovalle metro station, around 1000 pesos per ticket and then you have to get off at the last stop, in Pirque. From there walk an hour to reach the reserve. Entering the reservation has a value of $ 5,000
In the reserve, you can do trekking, picnic and even enjoy a river. they have some beautiful trails where you reach the top, you reached a viewpoint where there is a beautiful landscape. There is a lot of flora and fauna, in fauna the Picaflor, Aguilucho, Torcazas, cachuditos, Condor, Chingue, Quique, Chilean Iguana, Long-tailed snake, Puma and Zorro stand out. And in flora Forests and Sclerophyllous (hard leaf) and High Andean Steppe. Some plant representatives are Peumo, Liter, Lingue, Canelo, Guayacán, Cactos, Frangel, Guindillo, Cordillera Cypress and Llaretilla.
Its a national reserve, because you can not make campfires or camp, you can only have a picnic and there are no grills,  you can not go to pets, you can not raise fliers and there are no garbage cans so you have to take the garbage, all this is to take care of the reservation and that is protected by CONAF.

  1. I had no idea of the existence of this park, so you tell about it, it must be very beautiful. Besides the fact that it's protected by CONAF seems excellent to me!
